Senior Master Tiago Quintela, also known in the Kung Fu Family as Moy Dei Na, is a direct disciple of Grand Master Leo Imamura (Moy Yat Sang) and a Senior Master in the Ving Tsun Kung Fu lineage of Patriarch Moy Yat.
Senior Master Tiago Quintela combines expertise in martial arts, education, and global executive leadership. He holds a Licentiate Degree in Letters (Classical and Modern Languages) from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG) and has over 15 years of experience as a senior executive in multinational technology and telecom companies, managing complex programs with annual P&Ls exceeding £35 million.
Senior Master Tiago entered the Moy Yat Ving Tsun Family in 2001 through his Hoi Kuen ceremony. Over the years, he progressed through the traditional stages of the system:

His mastery spans all six domains of Ving Tsun (Siu Nim Tau to Baat Jaam Do) and the three developmental phases (Sau, Poh, Lei), reflecting complete systemic command of the art.
Long before guiding the strategic direction of the Moy Yat Ving Tsun Safeguard Group Global Headquarters,
Senior Master Tiago Quintela cultivated the foundations of his work in Brasília. During this formative chapter,
he refined his understanding of Kung Fu education and strengthened the principles that now shape his mission in Abu Dhabi.
Today, this period serves as a historical record of the experiences that prepared him for his global responsibility
as Guardian of the Headquarters in Abu Dhabi. The lessons, discipline, and leadership cultivated in Brasília continue to underpin
his work at the highest levels of the international Ving Tsun community.
He leads Lin Fa Mo Gun in Brasília, Brazil, An academy dedicated to preserving and transmitting the authentic Moy Yat Ving Tsun System for students of all ages.
Background & Career
Alongside his corporate achievements, Tiago has dedicated over 25 years to Moy Yat Ving Tsun Kung Fu. His formal pedagogical training and certifications in ITIL, Lean, and Six Sigma allow him to integrate Ving Tsun principles of efficiency, strategy, and emotional resilience into both martial arts and leadership mentorship.
Since 2018, he has led Lin Fa Mo Gun in Brasília, instructing students, developing disciples, and safeguarding the traditional Moy Yat Ving Tsun System.
